Probably will help it in the end if you have the good sense to taper and lay off the weights a week or two before an event. You may well see some negative impact on a day to day basis when you have a swim workout and are not fully recovered from a weight workout, but get in a bit a rest and recovery and it all comes together. Plus weight bearing exercise benefits that swimming just doesn't have.danswimsnoreply@blogger.com
