Mostly in loops. If you hydrate sufficiently prior AND the weather isn't too damn hot (or the water), you can swim through a 10K w/o water. <br /><br />Your swim sounds fun. Hopefully you can put in on both ends. My husband and I are going to have to practice that as well. I'd like to get to one of those eventually. Good luck on it! If you don't have a kayaker with you, do they usually have like floating water stations on those long swims?
